The Parlama Sportfishing Fleet is located on the
 Pacific Coast  of Guatemala,

Land of the Eternal Spring and home of the
 "Worlds Greatest Sailfishing"
Let us take you on the "Trip of A Lifetime" that you can afford every year.
All the boats in Parlama Sportfishing Fleet are named after the various Marine Creatures found on the Pacific Coast.  There is a great program of Turtle Nurseries that produce thousands of young turtles each year, CLICK the picture more information.
El Volcan del Fuego (Fire Volcano) is in almost constant eruption and makes a great sight just North of Antigua.
The road from Antigua Guatemala to Puerto San Jose is 46 miles of some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.  For the most part you are on wide open highway, but you do pass thru the old city, Ciudad Viejo, and wind across  a narro canyon and cross the river which ads to the experience.  Over all it is just a one hour ride.
Guatemala is considered among the prime sport fishing sites in the world! Most sailfish all time records are held in Guatemala! Whether it’s fly-fishing for sailfish , conventional light tackle Marlin, Dorado, Wahoo, Tuna or inshore Roosterfish, Snappers. Groupers, Sierra Mackeral and a host of others, let us plan your next memorable fishing adventure!

Parlama offers a wide choice of sport fishing options on the Pacific coast and the  of Guatemala. We have both luxury and economy options out of Marina Pez Vela in the Puerto Quetzal all weather port on the Pacific coast. Located less than two hours away from the Auroa International airport in Guatemala City  and one hour from the Historic Tourist Center, Antigua Guatemala, this is home of the world’s greatest Sail Fish Concentrations.
The Parlama Fishing Fleet
All the Parlama Boats are registered in Guatemala for Charter Fishing.  They are fully equipped with all safety equipment, radios and GPS locators to make your safety our Number 1 Priority.  The Ballena and Tijereta will always have a Bi-Lingual Captain  or 1st Mate.  The Panga Crews have many years of experience guiding Guatemalan Nationals and English speaking guests to the fishing grounds and are very fluent in "Fishing English".  Which means you should be able to understand each other enough to have lots of fun.  If you do require a true Bi-Lingual guide we will accommodate your worries for a small surcharge.
